Saying Goodbye to 2013

I can’t say that I remember much of the first half of 2013, but the second half? Especially the summer? That was a stressful and busy time!

I’ve decided to take a photo tour of the year! Sharing pictures as highlights from 2013. But first I’m going to start with some blog post highlights though:

Now for a few pictures!

From January to May we experienced a Recital, Every Day School Life, a Birthday and Pascha!

January through May 2013

June through December we experienced another recital, a heart attack, a graduation, a wedding, and more birthdays.

2013 May through August

Other 2013 Highlights include:  Honeybear reading the Epistle for the first time, growing a garden, and I became an Orthodox Godmother for the first time.

Sept through November 2013

My friend Susan has organized a blog fair around the theme of Remembering the Real in 2013.  Tomorrow’s blog fair theme is Looking Forward to the Real in 2014.  Check out this list of participating bloggers!

  4. I loved seeing your pictures as you remembered 2013 :-) I sounds like a real year of ups and downs, and lots of happiness. I also had to go back and read the better butter post because I'm currently looking for a better way to cook and eat. Happy New Year!

  7. Tess, how well did your daughter do on her SAT tests? (I went back and read your X post.) Did College Prep do a good job of preparing her for it?
